What caused the response of Nokia 5800 to be lukewarm at most and this its failure in the market?

Nokia 5800 is an excellent piece.I've used it for a few months.Butt It had some drawbacks.
1.The touchscreen lags after a few days of usage.
2.Music is not so impressive and is the same as the cheaper versions of Xpress music like 5130,5310,etc.
3.18k was seriously too expensive as this was the time of the rage of korean/chinese models which were better than it and cheaper.
